These are some of my gems from 2010. Do relish in them, until the mother load of gems comes in 2011! Hazzah to the art, and hazzah to the love of it!

Santa pulled through.

Thank you so much Father King for fulfilling this dream. The dream of a new camera. To upgrade from ol' reliable, my D50, to the new, masterful mid-grade D7000. I cried, happy tears. As they warmed my face, my soul burned. I am on fire for art. So, what say you, world? You ready for me? You best believe it. Audrey's comin'!

Images brought to you in part by: Audrey's BlackBerry.

The Brilliant Etch of the City.

We lived on Aloha, our School close by,
We would slink down the streets,
through the trees, we fly!
The wooden stairs in the school,
all rustic and worn,
our coats on the hangers,
with one or two torn.
Our lunches packed,
Recess was near,
After our classes, break time-with Cheer!
After the school day, we bumble back home,
to our home on Aloha, no whine, no moan.
Capitol Hill, The etch of the City,
full of artists, light and love,
Ooo, look! A Kitty!
The jubilance in the air, this town-perfection,
Love all around, this silent seduction.
I will never leave! Capitol Hill has my heart!
What are you waiting for? A visit- due start!

Dear Santa Claus...

I have been a good girl this year, well, better than most. I was hopin', maybe, if you thought it to be grand, for you to deliver unto me... a Nikon D7000? Possibly, with the kit lens, so... I can immediately start snapping photos? Heck, while your at it, throw in a Sigma 10mm-20mm wide angle lens? That new glass will make my photography... KICK ASS. I know I have done well this year, Fueling my imagination with whimsical thoughts, and dreamery nights.

I wish to also receive many fond memories. :3

Strolls through down town Seattle, all bundled and bright.
With a coffee in toe, with my twinner, DELIGHT!
We will oooo & ahhh at the children with glee,
their parents loving gaze, the lights we did see.
I hope for a kiss, under the mistletoe,
Hell, maybe several, tis the season, y'know!
This Christmas will be grand, no matter what's under the tree,
Tis the season for loving times, with one's family.

....But seriously, you get me that camera you would really be doing me a solid.

My twin sister's and I are turning 22 next month. Got the urge this mornin' to look up funky cakes that I may be able to make with her for our party guests. Not a cake fan myself, but damn do I love me some baking! Check out this serious baking work from pastry chefs via: Google search! They had some great Canon cakes, as well, but, ya'll know I am a Nikonite fo' LIFE! N4L!! Holler!

P.S. I be needing a plus one for my birthday party :> Anyone? Anyone? Beuller? ...:<
