We lived on Aloha, our School close by,
We would slink down the streets,
through the trees, we fly!
The wooden stairs in the school,
all rustic and worn,
our coats on the hangers,
with one or two torn.
Our lunches packed,
Recess was near,
After our classes, break time-with Cheer!
After the school day, we bumble back home,
to our home on Aloha, no whine, no moan.
Capitol Hill, The etch of the City,
full of artists, light and love,
Ooo, look! A Kitty!
The jubilance in the air, this town-perfection,
Love all around, this silent seduction.
I will never leave! Capitol Hill has my heart!
What are you waiting for? A visit- due start!
